Great Food, Cold Beer. Eat at the Cheniere Shack several times a month. Great food, cold beer, good service, incredible deserts.

NEVER AGAIN!!!. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone!! We went to eat supper there and waited for an hour for our food even though people that came in after us were receiving theirs. All we ordered were hamburgers and a poboy. We complained to the manager and he came out after "checking" on our orders and told us that they aren't a fast food restaurant and we would get our order soon, that he has three stations in the kitchen and our order would be up soon. (By the way, our waitress had told us that our order was coming up 25 minutes ago) Anyway, we offered to pay for our drinks and leave and the owner told us that we MUST pay for our food before leaving because we ordered it and it was being prepared already. He called the law and threatened to have us arrested when we refused to pay for food we had not received!! This whole thing is taking place in front of my 7 year old daughter!!! We were told by the owners never to come back and the deputy did make us pay for our food, which after 1 hour and 15 minutes was finally ready. I can honestly say that I am happy to never go back, there are several great restaurants in West Monroe that treat their customers with respect and will be glad to have our business.
