The Best Blackened Catfish
by danner32 at Citysearch
Was highly recommended by the locals.
Is an old riverside restaurant. Don't be put off by the appearance and area.
The servers are great and the food is really good Cajun/seafood. The atmosphere inside is lacking but the view from the rear deck is wonderful.
- Pros: Great food, catfish, crawfish, gator.
- Cons: Needs colder beer
Don't waste your time on the food. Want to down a couple beers with friends? Good spot for it.

Well, it was a fun place. If I was going to have a couple beers with friend, then I might go back. As to the food, I've had better fried crawfish at Popeye's. The best item I had was the fried pickles. Too expensive by at least 25%. I should have gone with the motel clerk's recommendation for Mohawk Tavern.

My husband I love to eat at Bayle's. Boudinballs, stuffed shrimp, Po-Boys, it's all good. We recently tried the bread pudding made with peaches instead of raisins and it was oh so scrumptious! We love it!
- Pros: Foods great. Eating out on the deck is great.
- Cons: The inside is not that much to look at but the food is GREAT!
