hotel was fantastic. The Brandy House restaurant at the hotel was fantastic -- great old bar with an ice bar, good service and amazing food. I'm really hungry right now just thinking about the food. Try the King Estates Pino Noir $35 -- if you like -- and the crab-stuffed tenderloin. You will hunt me down and thank me.
Beautiful Hotel. The room was a suite that had been remodeled and was divine...granite,fancy shower,3 plasma tvs, fine linens and towels! The only thing lacking was a turn down service and chocolates.
a real treat. Good smell. Good temperature. Brand new King sleigh bed with marble inlay and matching ornate walnut furnishings -- all brand new. A 42" LG TV with an awesome remote that I didn't need my glasses to operate. Clean, comfortable carpet. About a hundred decortive pillows on the bed -- it really looked grand. The bathroom was old school large with brand new everything from the toilet and sink to the travertine tiled shower. I would almost think I was at the Four Seasons if I had seen a bath robe hanging on the door! It was much more than I had expected -- a real treat.
Really enjoyed my stay. The Atrium improves each time I stay over there. I have stay there 4 times since last year this time and really enjoy the staff along with the new restraunt they have on site.
Wait until the renovation is completed...
Nice people and a great restaurant, but the hotel needs updating badly. Some of the rooms have been redone, and they are great. But it's hard to get past the shabby exterior and the awful parking lots. I asked for a new room but it was right outside the pool, and the room opens up on the outside corridor.
It would be a great location if it had inside corridors.
The Brandy House is great. Love the Music (Brandy House): We love the music in the Brandy House. The piano is great! The guy really knows how to entertain you. Can't wait to go back again.
Very enjoyable time. During my stay at the Atrium I had a very enjoyable time. I have been here several times in the past and must say each time I stay here things get better. The staff was very kind and helpful, along with the king size bed it was as close as home as I could get for a hotel room.
Wonderful Hotel. We had booked thru a group. Upon arrival, we found that our discounted "credit card secured" room had been given away accidentally. We were given a King Suite instead, for the same price. The suite was absolutely royal. Lots of marble and glass. Spotless top to bottom, front to back. Hi-def flat screens tv's in living room, bed room, AND bathroom. Large whirlpool bath. Seperate glassed in shower, with multiple shower heads. Very spacious. Real furniture and decorations. (Vases, statues, etc.) Headboard and footboard on bed. Extremely comfortable mattress and pillows. Exquisite food AND service in the restaurant. (Brandy House) And I could never say enough about the friendliness, courtesy, and helpfullness of the staff. And that includes housekeepers and maintainence, to desk clerks and waiters/waitresses. Ask, and you WILL recieve.
Quality and Quanity. I just spent three days in a large and luxurious suite at the Atrium and would recommend it to anyone without qualification. This beautifully decorated suite has recently been renovated with a large living room w/wet bar and big screen tv, large bedroom with four poster bed, thick fluffy mattress, and another big screen tv, and a huge bathroom with two separate sinks, glass-enclosed shower with 4 jet sprays and an olympic-size bathtub/jacuzzi. Once the renovation on this facility is complete, it will be a showplace for the Monroe area. In the meantime, spend a few extra bucks and book one of the suites, believe me, you will not regret it.
Great place. The Atrium was a great place for our wedding reception. They provided a limo for my husband and I as well as really good food for a great price. We worked with Rhonda and she was amazing. She set up everything and catered to every concern or idea we had. Their staff was awesome and helpful. They are in the process of remodeling now so it looks even better than when we used it. I would highly recommend them. We received a complimentary stay in one of their amazing hotel suites and our guests were able to book rooms with them as well. They will work with you in every way possible. We had to book last minute because our previous vendor Canard's closed 2 months before the wedding. Luckily they had an opening and were so easy to work with.
